For the processing of personal data described in this privacy policy, Elkj?p Nordic is jointly responsible for the processing with pavilla.de AB and/or franchisees. pavilla.de AB/franchisees are independent data controllers for store camera surveillance, as described in point 10 below. 1. When you shop in our physical stores:
When you purchase goods in pavilla.de's stores, you have the choice of shopping anonymously, shopping as a registered customer, or shopping as a member. If you choose to shop anonymously, you do not need to provide us with any personal information. If you shop in our physical stores and do not create a customer profile, you can choose to shop anonymously, provided that the goods or services you purchase do not require us to create a customer profile or receive your personal information. If you shop on our website, we must register you as a member. For the processing of your personal data when you are a member, please refer to point 7.
Customer registration/creation of customer profile
When you shop at pavilla.de, we would like to add you as a customer to our system. Once added, we will be able to retrieve your receipt later if necessary. When you shop in our online store, we need to create a customer profile so that we can complete your purchase and ship your items. You can manage your customer relationship with us on My Page after logging into our website.
In order to add you as a customer, we need to register your personal information, such as name, phone number and email address. We may also ask you for address information. In order to distinguish your customer profile from other customer profiles with similar names, we use your email address as an identifier. Your purchase information and any contact between you and us will be linked to your customer profile.
When you shop in our online store, we ask you to provide us with your phone number and email address. We then look up publicly available information to automatically fill in your name and address. If the search results are empty, we ask you to fill in this information manually. Depending on the payment method you choose, we may also ask you to provide payment information. Your payment information will be processed by our partners and will not be stored in our systems. This applies even if you choose to have the site remember your payment information.
The legal basis for creating a customer profile for you is our legitimate interest in creating a customer profile and associating your purchase history with you as a customer. We want to be able to provide good follow-up service where necessary.
We will retain your customer data for as long as you are an active customer of ours and we have a customer duty towards you under consumer law and the Accounting Act or for as long as there is an active customer relationship between you and us. We will retain your personal data for a maximum of six years as required by law.
You can delete your customer profile yourself or request the deletion of your data before the expiration of the six-year period. To make it as easy as possible for you to log in to our pages, we offer login services for users who have other accounts such as Facebook, Paypal, Google or Microsoft. Please note that if you choose to log in via these accounts, you will need to agree to the tracking of your activities via cookies. The privacy policy of the relevant service applies to this data registration.
Product Reviews:
If you leave a product review on our website, we will ask you to provide your email address. This address may be used to contact you or send you information related to the product review.
Product Recall
If we discover a serious defect in a product we have sold, we will be able to recall the product using your contact details we have on file. If the defect is less serious and the brand supplier wishes to rectify or offer compensation to you, the customer, directly, we will be able to share your details with the supplier so they can contact you and rectify the defect.
For the use of contact details for revocation, the legal obligations under the applicable product liability law are the basis for processing. If we share your personal data in order to contact you about errors that do not fall within the scope of product liability law, the basis for processing is legitimate interest.
2. When you purchase goods from us and order home delivery or installation services:
If you choose us to install or deliver the product to your home, we need to record your personal data so that we can provide the services you ordered. If you choose home delivery and/or installation services, we must create a customer profile for you, as described in point 1 above, which includes your name, email address and address, as well as information about the delivery conditions to your address.

When we invite you to participate in a customer survey, our legal basis is legitimate interest. In order to improve the customer experience, pavilla.de is obliged to collect information about the customer's experience shopping with us. We trust that such requests will not have any negative impact on you as a customer.
3. When we process returns, complaints, service and repairs:
If you make a complaint, return a product or request a repair from us, we need to record your contact details in order to process your request. If you are not already registered as a customer in our system, we will create a customer profile as described in point 1.
When we provide services, we use your personal data to record and provide you with service status and service history information related to your product. If we engage an external partner (such as a product manufacturer), we will share the personal data necessary for the third party to perform the service or repair.
If you have signed a support agreement or configuration service for a mobile device, computer and/or tablet, we will access the content on your device and account during the provision of service. We use this access to transfer content from old devices to new devices, install and upgrade software, and configure your device to suit your needs. Before your support agreement expires, we may contact you to ask if you wish to renew your agreement.
When we use your personal data to provide services and support, the purchase agreement is the legal basis. This also applies if you return an item on an open order.

4. Once you purchase financing, subscription or insurance from us:
pavilla.de has partnerships with providers of financing services, insurance and subscription services. In this context, pavilla.de is a personal data processor for the service providers. If you purchase any of these products through us, we collect the personal data necessary to perform the agreement and share it with the company with whom you have entered into the agreement. If you choose to subscribe to a service, we must store your bank card details so that we can debit your bank card for the agreed monthly fee. Your bank card details are processed by our payment service provider and are not stored in pavilla.de's systems.
